Ecclesiastes 3:11
‘He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.’

I am continually amazed at the beauty around me… the vibrant colors in nature… I can just imagine how much fun it would have been to create all of this….

Two deer on a sunny morning

Habakkuk 3:19 “The Lord God is my strength, and He has made my feet like Hinds feet, and makes me walk on my high places.”

I grew up in northern Minnesota- deer hunting was an important time of the year.. we ate venison all year long… it helped feed our farm family of 10 people. I love seeing deer-they have such a graceful way about them….

Blessings and enjoy your day….

Sand Crane with eggs

Ephesians 5:1-2
‘Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.’

I have been going out to see these Sand Cranes daily for the last 8 days or so… It has offered me time to reflect on the beauty around me…. nature in all its glory. I am looking forward to seeing the eggs hatch and the new chicks brought into this world… I am hoping that they survive and are not taken as the Loon eggs were…

Bee on corn flower

Titus 3:4-7 ‘But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,  he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.’
Have a blessed day…..

Killdeer and baby

2 Peter 1:5-8
‘For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.’

Mama cow with twin calves

Psalms 95:2-3 “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all Gods”.

We were up north to see Liz (my sister) who recently had a stroke- also to see my Mom (she fell and hit her head a few days earlier)… we had a wonderful visit (still honoring social distancing- stayed in Ruthie’s camper). It was so good to see everyone…. family is such a blessing….

These twin calves are only a couple of days old… so full of life-and Mama was very protective 🙂
