Mama cow with twin calves

Psalms 95:2-3 “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all Gods”.

We were up north to see Liz (my sister) who recently had a stroke- also to see my Mom (she fell and hit her head a few days earlier)… we had a wonderful visit (still honoring social distancing- stayed in Ruthie’s camper). It was so good to see everyone…. family is such a blessing….

These twin calves are only a couple of days old… so full of life-and Mama was very protective 🙂

Loon turning eggs

Proverbs 22:6
‘Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.’

I had the privilege to witness the changing of the guard with loons.. I have seen many loons over the years.. but never a switch on the nest.. and the turning of the eggs before the loon sits on the nest. It was amazing and certainly a highlight in my life…. the sad part is, I went back the next morning to see the loons and the nest was empty… the eggs were gone.. no shells.. two eagles were sitting in trees nearby.. and the mama loon (or the dad) were floating nearby the nest.. it appeared they were grieving… no babies in sight.. so sad…

Raccoon

Numbers 6:24-26
‘The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.’

Have a day filled with peace…..

These Raccoon pictures were taken at Itasca State Park.

Memorial Day-Arlington Cemetery

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
‘For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal.’

Today we honor the men and women who have given their lives for our country.
